This photo, taken in 1936, is another mystery regarding its title in the Burgert collection. There are few records of the Columbia River Paper Co. at 302 N. Willow St in Tampa. The building, originally known as the Metal Works-Dicus Building, was constructed in 1925. The sign on the building in the photo reads "E.C. Palmer & Co. LTD," advertising paper and printer supplies. Indeed, according to records, the Palmer company was involved in the printing business in Tampa, supplying paper and printing supplies. In 1967, it moved to a new building on 4514 Church Street. The Dicus building received a Local Historic Designation in 2007.
Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery, a seller of bathroom fixtures, kitchen appliances, and home lighting, has been in the building for over a decade.
