This beautiful Mediterranean Revival building was constructed in the early 1920s as the headquarters for The Grower Press. The Florida Growers Publishing Company owned and operated the company and produced printed materials for the citrus industry, among others. They were a primary supplier of citrus box labels in Florida. The business continued to expand, buying competitor MacDonald Printing Company in 1962, forming one of the largest printing companies in the state. It later became home to Florida Trend Magazine. As with many boom-time buildings, it began to decay in the late 20th century. In 1976, the printer had moved, and the building was the headquarters for the local Jimmy Carter campaign.
In 1998, Ferman Automotive Management Services moved its executive offices here after beautifully restoring the building to its former Mediterranean style. The company remains there today.
