Grayson’s Clothing Store - 909 Franklin St
Grayson’s Clothing Store opened in 1949 at 909 Franklin St., next to WT Grants. It took the space that housed Federal Credit Clothiers from 1922 to 1946. Grayson’s was a national chain, and this was the second of three stores in Florida. They carried a full line of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear clothing and lasted until 1958. In 1959, Stanley Jewelers opened a second location here.
