Holtsinger’s Dependable Used Cars on Florida Ave was close to auto row, the section of upper Franklin St filled with auto dealerships and car parts houses. They took over the lot from Smith Chevrolet used cars. Specializing in Fords, Holtsinger’s featured daily specials they called “Radio Girl Specials”, likely related to an on-air radio promotion with a woman personality hawking the daily deal.

The property then went through several car dealerships, including Jay Bragg used cars, Bill Curry Ford by 1960, and Foster Lincoln-Mercury in 1963, who moved in 1967 to S. Dale Mabry. Like many buildings on or near Auto Row, this location was home to a union starting in 1968. The AFT, American Federation of Teachers, took over. By 1973, U.S. Wholesale distributors moved in. Kass, Hodges, PA brought their law practice to the site in 1994, and Kass, Shuler Investor Advocates remains there today.
