In the 1950s, Tampa was expanding in every direction. New suburbs like Palma Ceia, Beach Park, and Sunset Park were established and blossoming. This photo shows raw land at the corner of South Dale Mabry and Obispo, with houses and businesses developing in the background.

Now PRN (Latin for take as needed) Plaza, named by a doctor who is the co-owner’s wife, houses several businesses. Notice the sewer cover in both shots in the foreground.
