Volume 1 and Volume 2
Volume 1 of Burgert Brothers: Look Again is over 400 pages of images of downtown Tampa and surrounding areas. You can see old Tampa here, with its booming retail areas in the central section, warehouses that lined the Hillsborough River, and the first buildings thought of as skyscrapers. As Tampa developed, just north of downtown Tampa Heights blossomed into a dynamic residential area with shops, churches, a library, a theater, and a section nicknamed yellow brick row along north Franklin Street where car dealerships and repair shops thrived.

Volume 2 of Burgert Brothers: Look Again is full of over 500 images from several prime areas of Tampa, including Ybor City, Bayshore Boulevard, Davis Islands, Hyde Park, South Tampa including Kennedy Boulevard, West Tampa, Sulphur Springs, and many others. It is over 530 pages of then-and-now photos, all with descriptions and the history of the site. Take a walk through the way Tampa used to be and how it looks now.

Burgert Brothers: Another Look
Burgert Brothers: Another Look is a smaller volume of before-and-after Burgert photographs representing a cross-section of the images in the larger Look Again series. This paperback edition is a full-color “sampler” of vintage Tampa then-and-now with looks into downtown, Ybor City, Davis Islands, Hyde Park, West Tampa, Tampa Heights, and other sections as well.
Burgert Brothers: Another Look is the first book published by the author and led to the follow-up series Burgert Brothers: Look Again. It is comprised of over 160 pages of vintage photographs compared to how those same sights and scenes look today.
