Poinsettia Ice Cream was sold in several cities in west central Florida, with factories in Lakeland, Clearwater, Bradenton, and this one in Tampa. The building was located at Cass and Marion Streets in downtown. This 1927 photo shows some construction or repair happening on the building. The company merged with The Bordon Dairy Company in 1943.
The lot is now a secure parking facility for the Robert L. Timberlake Jr. Federal Building Annex across Marion St from the property, seen in the background.
