Starting in 1946, R.C. Hilton handled a lot of residential and commercial property in the Tampa area and moved into this building from their old offices at 3325 South Dale Mabry in 1950. By 1969, they moved to a downtown location on Ashley St. In June of 1971, Dan Forth Realty set up shop and added the additional square footage. 1992 saw Kids Korner consignment “A Children’s Specialty Shop” move in, and they stayed in business for about 10 years.

In 2005, Benchmark Optical ran the place, with Health Plus Wellness Center moving to the south side thereafter. In 2017, SoFry Southern Fried Chicken made it for a few months on the north side of the building where Wingets Takeout and Delivery was opened. Wingets closed, and in 2023, Hot Dogs Galore began developing the site. After nearly two years of seeking permits and delays, it had its soft opening in February 2025.
