This building was associated with motor vehicles for a long time. It was in the middle of Yellow Brick Row, a several-block section of north Franklin Street built with yellow brick buildings, also known as Car Row. In 1920, it housed Traffic Truck Sales Company, and in 1927, McFadden Tire Company opened its second store here. From 1928 to 1930, the building did a brief stint as the local dealership for Indian motorcycles. In 1931, the Webster Daniels Company, selling new automobile parts, moved here from its store a few blocks away at 1217 Florida Avenue. That same year, drama unfolded when owner John F. Webster, asleep in the rear of the building, found five bandits attempting to load a safe from the store into their car. He returned fire after being shot at, wounding one of the bad guys. Weber sold the store in 1946. In 2018, Brave Haus, a 4,300-square-foot co-working space for creatives, opened here. They closed in 2022, and it is now the collective for Grace City Church
